In commemoration of my rapidly approaching 5,000th pageview (I'm only averaging 1,000 per year?! Must do better!), and also because no one ever takes advantage of my kiriban offers, I submit unto you the first five pages of Wunderkammer! One of them is a cover page, so that's sort of a cop-out; but shh.

In case anyone has somehow managed to avoid my constant blatherings about this story for the past several months, it's (going to be) about a group of time-traveling museum employees working for an eccentric French baron and living in what is essentially his imagination. They skip around history snagging artifacts that have been lost to antiquity at or around the time historical records of them ceased while trying not to upset the space/time continuum. Hopefully it will be more fun than that sounds; I was a museum studies major in college so I'm more than a little biased about the industry, haha.

It will be full of adventure, betrayal, crazy historical figures and crazier historical events! Also, the ladies of the Kunstkammer, who like to destroy artifacts instead of the Wunderkammer's mission of preservation. This first chapter might seem a little wordy and slow, for which I apologize, but hopefully it should clear up all the logistics and physics of how the Wunderkammer functions and exists, seeing as how it's located "outside of time."
